Barbecue at Rosie´s Grill: Choose a fish from the roast, two side orders and it will be served at your table within 20 minutes! Chicken if you don´t like fish.
Rosie´s is a lovely place in Aventurera Street with a roof made of palm leaves and surronded by bushes and trees.
Nothing much else to say about Rosie´s, except that we spent a lovely but tired evening there with Sylvia from the Netherlands after a happy day out snorkeling.
What IS to tell about the island itself is that they enthusiastically mixed English and Spanish in naming thir streets. Which leads to a colourful neighbourhood of Avenidas, streets and Calles. Streets head east, Avenidas north and Calles, well, I think they do what they like…

Truskawa-jam from Poland!
My friend Sandra gave it to me when I paid her a visit in Brzeg back in 2005. I treasured it like the Holy Grail since it was homemade. And over all my worshipping her housewife-potential I forgot to eat it. Although we should always eat everything we have! Anyway, what´s your clue - is it safe to try the holy jam now… 7 years later?

MY IMAGINATION - The ´Merhamet Apartmani` in Istanbul from Orhan Pamuk´s bestseller “Das Museum der Unschuld” - the place where the lovestory of Füsun and Kemal truly begins. It´s a story about Istanbul and its people back in the 70ies and a big love turned into obsession turned into a museum which today actually exists!

MY STOMACH - fruit… for life! I love love love the Mangos! Unfortunately they started cultivating them without their fibres. Which makes it kind of artificial taste.
